• The budget was passed on a 10-1 vote (Council Member Mackenzie Kelly opposing on Wednesday (8.16) at 3:24PM.
• At $5.5 billion the FY 2024 budget is Austin's largest to date.
• The city's fiscal year begins on October 1st.
